Who is responsible

Prorata is run by one person, not a company. For anything on this page, write to prorata@lothvi.app.

What is held

Your name, your email address, and your password as a hash. Then what you record: your accounts and their balances, your income, what you spend and the labels you give it, and who is in your household. Prorata is connected to no bank, so every figure is one you typed.

Why

To run the app you asked for. Without those figures there is nothing to show you.

Who else sees it

Google, and only to count visits. The home page and the sign-in page load Google Analytics if you accept it in the banner, and not before. It says how many people arrive and where from, nothing about you and nothing about your figures, and it never runs once you are signed in. Google is a company in the United States, so that visit data leaves Europe. Nothing else is shared, nothing is sold and there is no advertising. If you share a household, the other member sees the shared costs and the balance between you, never your personal accounts.

How long

As long as your account exists.

Your rights

Write to prorata@lothvi.app for a copy of your data or to have it corrected. To delete it, use the button in your settings: it removes your account and everything in it, at once.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. Your language and your theme are remembered the same way. If you accept the visit count, one more cookie remembers that answer for six months and Google sets its own; if you refuse, only your answer is kept and Google is never contacted. You can change your mind at any time in your settings.

This page can load Google Analytics to count visits. Nothing is sent unless you say yes. Read the privacy page
